Job Summary
This position will be the subject matter expert for various accounting, operations, fraud management, and internal audit functions. The Accounting/Ops Specialist will take on a variety of tasks to optimize the operational needs within the bank.

Specific Duties/Responsibilities
Operational Items
  • Provide courteous and professional support to both internal and external customers
  • Process ACH/Electronic transactions and assist customers with reported Reg E errors
  • Prepare and process check/electronic adjustments and returns
  • Process NSF's, non-posts, and Chargebacks
  • Process incoming and outgoing wire transfers
  • Maintenance and review Recurring Transfers and Transfer/Sweeps
  • Assist Cash Management customers with ACH files, returns, and file troubleshooting
  • Monitor third-party balances to optimize the bank's liquidity and capital
  • Follow all bank policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all laws and regulations
  • Check and ACH Ambassador
  • Other tasks as assigned

Fraud Management
  • Monitor and analyze fraud reports/systems to identify risks and minimize loss exposure
  • Proactively review and identify fraudulent transactions
  • Support Enterprise Risk Management activities

Treasury Management
  • Treasury Management Onboarding
  • Treasury Management Operations
  • Treasury Management Reporting

Accounting
  • Handle day-to-day duties including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, payroll, booking journal entries, reconciling credit card and bank accounts
  • Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts
  • Provide general ledger support to various teams/departments
  • Prepare and review monthly financial statements for the Board of Directors
  • Prepare and process accruals and depreciation monitoring
  • Process accounting entries for fixed-income securities
  • Maintain information in accounting templates
  • Working with external auditors and regulators on an as-needed basis to respond to questions, information requests, etc.
  • Other projects as assigned

Internal Audit
  • Prepare and review internal audit schedules and reports
  • Assist with risk assessments/ERM
  • Conduct internal audit functions
  • Provide QA/QC support

Customer Support
  • Customer transaction processing
    • Deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, official checks, bond redemption, change orders, etc.
    • Complete Reg CC Holds, CTR and SARs as needed
    • Buying and selling cash between tellers, TCR and vaults
    • Process night drop and mail
    • Daily balancing of drawers, TCRs, coin machine and vault
    • Maintain equipment as needed
  • Phone conversations and Email
    • Answer incoming phone calls, answer questions, resolve issues or direct to another employee in a friendly manner
    • Monitor internet conversations and respond in a timely, professional manner
    • Monitor and respond to all incoming service emails
  • Complete customer requests
    • Moving funds via telephone
    • Loan advance requests sent to loan officer and support team
    • Collect information for address changes
    • Provide wire transfer information for incoming wire requests
    • Collect stop payment information

Work Schedule
The team member will work primarily at Foresight Bank's 412 W Broadway, Plainview location, varying shifts between 7:15 am and 6:15 pm, Monday through Friday and 8:45 am to 12:00 pm (noon) on a rotating Saturday schedule. This schedule is subject to change based on Foresight's business needs. Unscheduled evening and weekend work may be needed to meet the needs of customers and employees. Special hours may be needed based on workload and the requirements of particular assignments.

    • Buying and selling cash between tellers, TCR and vaults

    • Education to customers and employees of product capabilities

Mobile Deposit Team
  • Perform day-to-day operations relating to Mobile Deposits
    • Set up new users
    • Troubleshoot user issues & missing items
    • Daily check review and fraud prevention
    • Maintain mobile deposit system, limits & users
    • Education to customers and employees of product capabilities

Bill Pay Team
  • Perform all duties relating to bill pay
    • Maintain bill pay system, limits & users
    • Troubleshoot user issues & missing items

Treasury Management
  • Perform administrative duties relating to Treasury Management
    • Verify ACH files submitted via Treasury Management

Safe Deposit Box
  • Identify client and complete access process
  • Provide access to the boxes
  • Answer any billing questions

ATM
  • Monitor ATM activity and deposits
  • Maintain cash levels and balances

Working Conditions
The team member will work primarily at Foresight Bank's 138 W Broadway, Plainview location, varying shifts between 7:15 am and 6:15 pm, Monday through Friday and 8:45 am to 12:00 pm (noon) on a rotating Saturday schedule. This schedule is subject to change based on Foresight's business needs. Unscheduled evening and weekend work may be needed to meet the needs of customer and employees.

Work is performed largely within the bank with limited chance for personal injury. Prolonged and frequent mental and visual concentration is required. The position involves the potential for periodic stressful situations in response to multiple priorities within established deadlines. The position involves lifting and moving up to 20 pounds of office supplies and equipment, and it involves some bending, turning, and twisting.

    • Complete billing process for all safe boxes
    • Record and monitor delinquent box rent
    • Issue new keys and drillings as needed
    • Process unclaimed property

ATM
  • Monitor ATM activity and deposits
  • Maintain cash levels and balances
  • Troubleshoot any issues or maintenance

Investment Services Support
  • Administration support for Investment Account Executive
    • Scan and Index brokerage documents
    • Monitor and schedule clients for account executive as needed
    • Other duties as assigned
